Join Us At The Street Fighter IV Launch Party At The MOCA

Posted: 02/07/2009

street_fighter_launch.jpgCome, party with us as we welcome the arrival of Street Fighter IV. Yes, Capcom has finally accomplished the unthinkable, a fourth proper entry in the Street Fighter series. To celebrate this Herculean endeavor, Capcom is throwing itself a little party, one filled with all the things that make parties so enjoyable — live performances, Japanese video game developers and arcade cabinets.

One of those arcade cabinets will be redesigned, reinterpreted, and possibly rendered unplayable by Meat Bun, one of the many artists and fashion labels taking part in the event. Appearances from DJ Qbert, The Knux and Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono promise to make this the best video game launch party you’ll attend all year. Capcom Unity has even more details.

The Street Fighter festivities will throw down at the Geffen Contemporary at the Museum of Contemporary Art in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, February 12th, 2009, from 8 PM to midnight. Make sure to RSVP to the proper Capcom e-mail address if you plan on attending. We’ll see you there!
